Ok, So I bought MW A few weeks back, Have played it extensively (only multiplayer, Singleplayer games bore me) and dont find anything new or challenging anymore, but i loved it. Should I bother buying CoD WaW for something different? or is it just a waste of cash?

I think it isn't really worth it if you have MW. It's just a reskinned MW with some different maps.
-
How can you not like the singleplayer, I totaly loved it, especially that sniper mission where you got a camo suit and run right behind and between the enemy soldiers without them seeing you.
Also, I didn't like the multiplayer untill I discovered free-for-all. Spawn camping rulez xD -
It's a much more enjoyable game for me since MW2 was released, it seems to attract much less of the grenade spam run and gun crowd and has a more laid back "tactical" userbase on PC.

I say go for it. Sure the multiplayer is similar to CoD4, but the single player campaign is good, and you can always play some Nazi Zombies when you're bored. It's like CoD4 + Left 4 Dead in one game

yeah- i really didn't like the WaW single player, at all.
compared to CoD4, it doesn't cut the mustard. -
I really enjoyed the game. If you like the CoD series, it is worth the money. It should probably be for a reduced price since it has been out for a while.
-
I really like World at War. I say go for it. Multiplayer is based on similar mechanics, but it still feels like a different game. Nazi Zombies is always fun too
-
I would recommend that u don't buy it... its poorly optimised compared to COD 4 Modern warfare 1... i would buy Modern Warfare 2... its way better than both of them... especially in multiplayer..
-
Darn it, I meant MW2! sorry about that. And im really into the multiplayer part of the game. Thanks for all the input.
-
I think MW2 is worth buying even with the crappy IWnet. It's still a fun game and an improvement over MW.
-
poorly optimized? It's the best call of duty out right now. Modern warfare 2 right now is pure GARBAGE. It's all grenade launchers and people staying the same spot. I used to have an average of 19 more kills than deaths in cod 4 and cod 5 every single game, now i have around 15 more deaths than kills in mw2. Stick with COD5, beautifully balanced, and barely anyone uses grenade launchers
-
Well, if you're asking about MW2 now, I recommend it as well. IWNet is not without its issues, but overall it does a good job for me.

I am having real trouble expressing myself here!
I HAVE MW2 and was wondering if I should bother getting CoD WaW. I play solely Multiplayer, And want something similar, but new, as I feel i am done with MW2 (always finish in the top 3, got around every weapon and blablabla...)
Is CoD WaW different enough (weapon, map, the whole feel of it) that I should bother spending that horrendous 49.99 euros on steam?
Hope i got it right this time >< -
Haha, okay. I read you loud and clear now.
If you want something similar to MW2 but different, then I think W@W is perfect for you. The rank and unlock systems are pretty much the same, but the different time period and use of tanks really set the two apart. There's also a few subtle differences in the weapons and perks...for instance, W@W has unscoped bolt-action rifles available, and the Last Stand perk allows teammates to revive each other while down.
I say go for it! -
Ahh, sound nice.
-
well 50% of on steam today, so im def buying it
-
WAW is definitely worth buying.
-
it's worth buying yes, I enjoyed the multiplayer more so than CoD4, so if you're ognna buy, buy now, while it's on sale =D
-
