This question of whether BF2 is better or CoD2 is better has been bothering me for a while. The other day when i went to the game store i wasn't sure which one to get, I prefer CoD WAY over BF vietnam and such. But the guy at the store recommended BF2, so of course i trusted him, its pretty good but I can still return it for another 3-4 days (i think) does anyone have any thoughts on whether i should return it and get CoD2. Also, BF2 doesn't run well on my system im thinking its a driver problem seeing as I have a 7800 with 256 mb and 1 GB of ram.... but anyways. TIA and happy postings :) If CoD2 is anything like CoD i think i would much prefer taht. (Jeeze tho, games are getting expensive 52.99 or something if u include tax)

I wanted to post a poll but i guess im not a high enough member to do so :p (or maybe just not skilled enough) OOPs got it =P

I haven't gotten around to playing CoD2 but I can definatly say BF2 is awsome. Great graphics and plenty of servers.

Yeah games are getting too pricy. Next thing you know they will be $70 :0

i prefer BF2..it is buggy, but the combat is awesome..i love the squad based combat. i love how the game is team oriented, whereas in CoD..if you are good enough you can wipe out the team yourself..in BF2, you could...but you most likely will not..also the ability to unlock new kits...is awesome

    hope this helps..

    pb,out.

I prefer BF2. Most of the bugs are "exploits". In other words...if someone's actually "playing" the game, they won't come across them much. Sure, some players will sit there and use them to their advantage...but it really isn't all that fun.

Just find a server where the rules are simple and enforced, and they promote people playing for fun(and kick those who don't). After a few weeks, I've got a list in my Favorites that's very reliable. If one server's full of ***hats and there's no admin on to kick them, I just hit a different server. No big deal.

I've only played COD2 a few times. It's just not as fun for me. I have it installed and never run it.

Im thinkin' i may like CoD2 better then BF2 because I like the way CoD plays over the way BF2 plays. I love the graphics on BF2 but that choppyness and the way the online is made i just dont rly like. I think im going to try out CoD2 :)

You really cannot compare COD with BF. BF is mainly focused on multiplay/teamplay, COD in contrast on the single player campaign.

I myself do not like to play COD online, but the singleplayer (same applies to Brother In Arms), was just awesome!

BF2 has a horrible single player. i wouldnt even call it single player. On the other hand COD2 has a very enjoyable single player with a okay multiplayer. BF2 has all these vehicles which u can use and its very interesting to play online but depends on the connection and specs it can get a bit choppy at times.
