    Hi everyone,

Just wanted some opinions on the awesome CoD4...I clocked it over the weekends but it kinda ended a bit too fast...(less than 10hours of gameplay)

Overall the game's so great I hope there's an expansion of some sort (can't wait for mods too! Anyone wanna suggest me? :) ) They should also let us drive more vehicles!! I was looking forward to drive the tank...

Who else feels it's too short?

In terms of campaign, it was pretty short. Too bad everyone died except Soap. :(

Who knows, Captain Price may be back in Call of Duty 5. :p
I hated the Mile High Club mission. What was the point of that mission?

There wasn't a point. It was probably a mission they couldn't fit (logically) into the main game, so they threw it at the end. I thought it was fun though, like all those movies where terrorists take over a plane (Passenger 57, Air Force One, Executive Decision, etc...).

I believe the last mission is the pre-lude to CoD5. But, that's just the rumor. CoD5 will be done by the same developers as CoD3, which... well, blew.

Anyways, yes, it is very short, with completion on medium it took around 5 hours.

short but sweet is how I found it to be plus there is a good amount of replayability in the multiplayer and arcade modes.

Thanks for ruining the storyline for me. :(

I was gonna wait till after my exams to finish off this great game... sigh.

I wish I could go back in time and not click on this thread.

I really enjoyed the single player. I thought it was dramatic, full of action, the music kicked in at the right time, the gameplay is amazing, and it's even a bit um.. *sad* when Sgt. Jackson goes to uh... Jacksonville xD

overall CoD4 is a personal favourite, I'm gonna try playing online once its the weekends. Does it take alot of bandwidth to play?

If the CoD4 was like a chapter longer, it could have become more repetive and some might have lost interest (I did in CoD1).
Multiplayer makes fully up for it though.

Just played a few more levels a minute ago. You forget just how beautiful the graphics are in single player... Multiplayer you are just going to fast to notice!

Don't worry you're still going to enjoy the game. Most of the deaths are unexpected, and you'll still be shocked.

Yeah, everyone agrees that the campaign was shot, but very good.

The multiplayer makes up for it though.

I was very happy with the single player campaign. I actually finished it. Great game, and I am very addicted to MP. My first try I was up around level 40 or so and had problems with patch 1.3. Started over and am now back up to level 55. The thing about this game, is even though I am not very good at FPS this one really pulls you in. I love the P90 with silencer, especially on real small maps. That, plus 3X frag grenades helps me out a lot.

All in all one of the best multiplayer games I have played since Duke Nukem
    3D on TEN*

*Bonus points to anyone who can tell me what TEN stands for. Kinda old school.

If you do not have this game, you need to pick it up. It does not disappoint.

The P90 is the most imbalanced gun by far, hate people who use it more than i hate the grenade launcher.

P90 = Unfair. Which is why I use it :) Great fire rate, large capacity, easy kills. P90 with silencer, 3X frags, fast reloading and martyrdom = very mad opponents.

I cant stand people who call in air strikes and then die right away, get 5 more kills and get another air strike die again, etc, etc, makes it very rough. Especially on shipment.

lol. lets kill the tubers. and the spammers. KILL EM ALL :D :D :D.. personally i play Hardcore team deathmatch and use either a g3 w/ acog or g3 w/ silencer ... in softcore i use g3 w/ acog and have the increased damage perk in slot 2.

I'm pretty sure that infinity ward will be making CoD5, not Treyarch (makers of CoD3)

G3, eh? I know a guy who has that rifle and then he ties the fire action to his mouse wheel, so when he spins the wheel it fires off a bunch of shots. Sounds like auto when you are close to him.

Never really tried that weapon, is it any good?

It was announced Treyarch was already developing CoD5 while CoD4 was being made. I should find that report...

Edit! Your announcement is served. :)

If you're that worried, why would you read this thread? I mean... it's not like it will imply the story or ending with a title like "CoD4... good game... but too short?"

Yeah, CoD4 was AMAZING, short, but sweet. And multiplayer never gets boring... but GOTY.... nah, have you played Super Mario Galaxy yet? Honestly, even CoD4 can't touch that :D
