    Anyone else getting kicked out of CoD4 in Windows 7 RC???
    And if so, anyone have a sollution???

    W7 has issues with punkbuster on almost all games, you're sunk if you want to game online in Windows 7

    But Im not using the RC... Build 7000. :eek:
    I also uninstalled Punkbuster. Try That. ;)

    It's something to do with windows 7 and CoD4. I haven't been kicked from punkbuster playing fear online, Crysis wars, or UT3 yet, only CoD4. It's always the same thing too, even if I have nothing else running except CoD4 the error is always this,

    Restriction: Unknown Windows API Function (131145)

    Yeah, on games that dont make you have PB. Youll see, if you create a game, there is an option to enable/disable PB. Which is AFAIK, forcing the players to have it on. Ive joined alot of games with no problem...

    punkbuster DOES NOT WORK WITH 64bit versions of win7. However it does work 100% with 32bit version. I have tried it. Im going to guess AHL395 is using 32 bit? And SWANK is using 64bit version? Am i right?

    I'm using the 32 bit version. Hopefully the makers of PB will take action and do something, but according to some posts I've read, they just don't give a damn, since W7 is not a officially released program yet.

    odd, i was using 64bit version on cod4, it failed. i then installed 32bit version and it worked like a charm.

    But according to lots of posts, this is a big problem with W7 and PB. Lets hope MS and IW leans on the makers of PB to fix this......QUICK

    They will. The PB people posted that they will fix it when the time comes, they just aren't supporting a beta OS right now.

    oh well, but as said, im sure it will become working for all OS's soon.
