That's basically the headline from this story, and I think it's true. Video included in the link below.

That looks bad. Basically it is a forced perspective game. Want a object to be bigger, get closer and pick it up, want it smaller, get farther away and pick it up. Then solve puzzles by making things smaller or bigger.
The only comparison with portal is that the use a "unusual" idea. This is a tech demo, so not even close to being a game. It makes no mention of humor, or an AI that is trying to kill you, or ... this is just lame. It looks like it might be fun for a few minutes. A run for its money, ha, what a joke. -
That's pretty cool, thanks for sharing! Curious to see where it leads.

It looks pretty sweet and out of ordinary for a puzzle game.
Cool.
PS: I want Portal 3 :/ -
Not sure if it could compete with Portal, but it sure looks like a great idea. If they can use some creativity though and implement a story and background like Portal has, then you're going somewhere. They should make it a space based sci-fi type adventure. I think it could be interesting.

This needs a ton of work, which is understandable since it is only a tech demo. But I have seen too many good ideas that didn't work. And I don't think this idea is good. I think after a few minutes your brain will see past the forced perspective. I remember the tech demos for Portal, they showed a lot more promiss than this. This might turn out ok, but it won't be giving Portal a run for its money.
Have you checked out the Stanely Parable, or Antichamber?
Seems to be getting very positive reviews on Reddit http://www.reddit.com/r/gaming/comm...based_on_forced_perspective_the_new/?sort=top
