Say I draw gray color in MS-paint. That color is defined by certain parameters, how much red, blue, and yellow it has, and some other parameters. Is there a monitor program that displays any gray color with these parameters by another color, say bright red?

I am asking because I have a tough time differentiating colors on my monitor when I do certain tasks such as watching certain videos or playing some games (maybe color blindness?). Sometimes everything just blends in and it is extremely hard to see anything. I want to isolate the important details by different colors so that it is more visible.

I want a program that allows me to pick the colors I want to change and their range of parameters and tell it to what color to change it to. That way it becomes clear.

I believe ATI's Catalyst Control Center and nVidia's Control Panel both offer color correction tools.

Maybe you should find out if you're color blind or not, lol

The ATI Control Center is not good enough. It is not advanced enough for the things I want to do. The best would be a program that can change a described color into a different color on the monitor.

Ummm there is something called power strip which can do a lot of stuff... but there is some other software I'm trying to remember...

I used it to invert screen colors because somehow the hardware of the screen itself failed and inverted the colors. I know you could figure it out with this software, provided you have the skill and ambition, because its actually a scripting language for windows that can do all kinds of ridiculous stuff.

    Aha! Its called AutoHotkey.

You can probably get started by reading this script and trying to understand how it works.

I should mention however, I'm really unsure about exactly what you want to do and why, it seems to me like you need to adjust a simpler setting such as gamma or contrast.
