I am new to gaming and recently I installed Starcraft on my new laptop. However a lot of the screens currently are suffering from problems with the color scheming. On top of that the game skips a little and overlaps somewhat. Is there a way to modify this problem so that the system functions smoother and with the proper colors? My systtem specs are
Manufacturer: Dell
Model: Inspirion I6400
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) Duo CPU T2250 @1.73GHz
Memory: 2046 MB
32-Bit operating system

See if you can run it in compatibility mode (right click on the .exe and go to properties, I believe). That may ameliorate some of your issues.

What graphics card do you have? Is it integrated or dedicated?

Is the screen suddenly starting to turn rainbow? If thats the case, its been happening to me for years and years, ever since the GeForce FX cards and the Radeon 9x00 series cards and continues into modern day cards. I think it may be problems with the more advanced architecture of those video cards. I havent found a way to fix it.

Well by adjusting the game to play in compatibility mode, it worked excellently, as long as no other programs are running. Thanks a ton Pitbred, as for a graphics card, it is the Radeon 1400.
