I bought Command & Conquer The First Decade and can't get Generals or Generals Zero Hour to run. When I go to start it, the splash screen for it starts, but then it just disappears and the game doesn't run. Any suggestions?

    Thanks.

What OS are you running? Likely it's an incompatibility as it's an older game.
If you haven't tried compatibility mode, I'd suggest virtualpc with 98 if you have it. :) (Assuming it doesn't require 3d hardware acceleration, does it?)

Make sure you have installed the latest patch as well. It fixed an issue people were having with Vista.

Try the patch, other than that, maybe try one of the compatibility mode options.

Considering these are the two newest games in that pack, it is strange that it isn't working.

    (They do require 3D Accel).

    I am using XP.

This is Command and Conquer The First Decade which was recompiled about a year ago to be compatible with XP.

I tried with and without patch without success...
