    hi,

I read that "Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts" is a stand alone expansion which means that I dont have to install the original "Company of Heroes" game to play "opposing fronts". But will installing "Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts" without the original version be the exact same as installing the original Company of Heroes and then installing Opposing Fronts. (Will maps, weapons, campaigns be the same)

    Thanks

No you will not have access to the original maps or campaign, and also, if you only have Opposing Fronts you won't be able to play as the Americans or the Wehrmacht in multiplayer. Instead, you'll be stuck playing as the British or the Waffen SS.

But if I'm not playing multiplayer, if I'm playing single player will I be able to play as the Americans or the Wehrmacht.

No, not really. There are, I believe, two single player campaigns included in Opposing Fronts. The British Campaign and the SS campaign (YAY!! Finally a German Campaign!)

basically opposing fronts is not an expansion, it is its own standalone game which will work simultaneously with the original if you own both games.

Just like Dark Crusade. An awesome system, because you can build your collection in the order you want.
