    Hi guys, i have the 8600m gt and 2gb ram on vista, and a 2ghz C2d, just wondering what detailed settings i shoul use for COH:OF in order to not get lag, yet still have a nice looking game.

    I play at 1400x900 with the automatic settings (shadows low) and DX9 'cause I play online mostly. DX10 is playable, but certain maps like Langres destroy frame rate.

    how to play it in dx9 mode? COH (steam version) only gives me dx10 on graphic options.

    Oh, the joys of Steam. I don't miss it all. Lower the resolution a notch and you should be ok, assuming it'll even run in DX10 mode (wouldn't for me).

    it runs fine, I'd only like to try it in dx9 to up some graphic options. Some command line to do it?

    It should be in the graphic options. I didn't know the steam version was that different.

    I found it, it's the "high/low" options. as the Dx10 option is specified as "directx10" I was looking for a "directx9" option somewhere :)
