Hello, this is my first post so hopefully I do this right.

I am trying to play Heroes of Might and Magic 5 on my Laptop. I believe this should run very smoothly. I have a Sony VAIO VPCF115FM. This laptop has a Intel Core i7-720QM processor that runs at 1.60GHz and has turbo boost capabilities to run at 2.8GHz , 6 GB DDR3 Memory, and an NVIDIA GeForce 330M with 1 GB dedicated graphics and can alloy up to 3830MB to be used for Graphics. Well the game runs choppy and extremely slow, and this isn't a top of the line game, which I believe my specs should still be able to play top of the line game.

I then installed the same game on my Fiancee's notebook. She has a HP G62-455DX. Her laptop has an Intel Core i3-350M processor that runs at 2.26GHz, 4GB DDR3 Memory, and her computer does not even have a dedicated graphics card it comes with the Intel HD Graphics Dynamic Video Memory Technology 5.0 and allows for 1696MB to be used for graphics. On her laptop the game runs so smooth, no choppyness and very fast. Not one problem.

I just wanted to see if anyone knows why this is happening, my Fiancee has a nice computer, I made sure of that. Though on the other hand my computer should be able to handle anything her computer can and much more. I have a nice processor, lots of RAM, and a good graphics card so any ideas on why this would be happening? Thanks in advance for reading my post and any answers you may provide.

Have you updated the drivers for your video card?
