    Confirmation about fsx version

    Hi, I bought FSX a month ago and the game is great and everything but recently I downgraded my laptop to XP and reinstalled the game, when toying with the box I noticed that the Deluxe version had features that I've never seen in the game: the g1000 ****pit and that pro with skis... So I fired the sim and looked for them but couldn't find anything... To make a long story short I'm now wondering if EBGames didn't sell me a regular version in a Deluxe Box; the Box was sealed when I bought it... So I need confirmation; are those the FSX Deluxe Cds?

    sorry dude, they are not deluxe version, just checked with my copies.
    on each dvd disc, under Flight Simulator X, it supposed to say "Deluxe Edition"... yours don't...

    ....I'm quite unhappy now. That would explain why the activation never worked... And it's too late to return them... Can I request replacement dvds from microsoft?

    nah... doubt it...
    Unless you are very good at convincing people at Microsoft or EBGames, tell them your story, who knows what might happen...

    Or you can just sell your current standard version and save some more money and go for the deluxe version + expansion set as well...

    EDIT:

    Just checked with EBGames' return policy, you can technically still return your game if you have it under 30 days...
    So, just call them or go back to the store you bought, and say you want the deluxe version and willing to pay for the price difference...

    I'll try that... Thanks... I can't sell it anyway since the serial inside is for the deluxe edition and didn't work for the regular one...

    yeah, that sucks man.... but, those aren't them, as posted above... Would be a tough sell at EB, but i'd sure try telling them what happened. If not, maybe Microsoft could help since you do have the box, but not sure. Not a huge difference between them though, might want to just pick up the acceleration expansion pack, that'll get you some new planes and some cool new missions

    look up a torrent file an download FSX Deluxe... technically you own it right?, so i cant see it being illegal if you use your legally purchased serial?
    doubt you will have much luck with EB/MS
