Edit: Problem solved noob mistake lol, just restarted computer and its acting properly now.
Now am i going insane here? is there a problem with GPU-Z and laptop GPU's? GPU-Z is reporting that my Maxium clock is 650/900/1500(overclocked by me) however when i look at teh Sensors, it says that the maximum clock is only 400/300/800 is that really true? i mean I dont have a single problem with any game what so-ever performance wise, but im still left wondering if I'm losing extra performance.

Wait what? Look at GPU-Z info. Your new clocks are there.
The lowered clocks are due to powermizer downclocking your card when the power isn't needed. -
But it does it even when i run 3D Apps like Furmark is there a way i can test it?
Edit: I just ran WiC benchmark whilst GPU-Z was in the background, and zero change in speeds. Still reads the max @ those clocks. -

Try Furmark.
and are you getting poor frames in games? -
Furmark same thing, i just ran the Company of Heroes benchmark and get the same report.
Whats funny is i DIDNT even know this until today, when i decided to try and clock my GPU some more and opened up GPU-Z and saw that it wasnt even reaching stock clocks!
As for games thats kinda the funny parts, there is no real way i can tell if im actually losing Frames. both the WiC and CoH benchmarks come within 30 FPS and like is stated i've been playing A lot of games and performance has been good.
The only way i can really tell you is if someone ran furkmark/Company of heroes who also owns an ASUS G50VT-X5
Edit: I posted my Furmark scores, Contest mode @ 1024x768
Edit 2: I restarted my computer and its back to normal, though i dont understand why it did that in the first place... overclocked it too high? -

Did you get an error before the problem started? I've overclocked too high and crashed the GPU driver, which caused my GPU to be stuck in non-game 3D settings.
-
Actually now that i think about it, i got an NV display error when i was playing WiC with my buddies, but that was because i left CoH running in the back ground :\

There you have it.
