I'm very confused about the comparison between these two particular Acer models - I know that they are much discussed in these forums, but I've joined here to ask something in specific!

    Acer 5633WLMi - LX.AY30X.049

All the talk about the 5613 is of the Nvidia 7300 card, and this mythical TurboCache.

I've done some research and have decided that Turbocache is a good thing, but, when I looked at a more detailed specifications list of the 5633 model, it also looks to have the same TurboCache card (but with 128 dedicated memory). Yet , there is no mention of TurboCache in the product feedback concerning the 5633 - and that has me really confused!

Does the 5633 model I linked to above have TurboCache, is it infact (slightly) more powerful than the 5613?

Are these guys playing a trick with me, by offering the 5633 at a higher price to suggest superiority, when in fact the 5613 is better for my needs?

I need a notebook that can handle broadband, imaging, some video, and some gaming. I don't play extremely demanding games, and don't care about having everything on high settings. I know you guys are tech-heads and probably spit on these pitiful things :) but I'm not looking for a super computer, just a good one.

The 5613 has half the dedicated RAM of the 5633. That's really all that matters. However, the Go7300 is a weak card and you won't notice the difference between 64 and 128 Mb of VRAM.

If you are going to game on your machine, I highly recommend getting a better GPU. The 7300 is entry level and won't be able to handle too many games.
