This might not be a direct PC-gaming-related question, but it deals with routers and access points, so I hope some people can help me...

What is the procedure and settings I have to modify or set in my PSP to establish a connection to my home access point (router)? I want to be able to use the internet-surfing capabilities and play online with my PSP, but am having some problems doing so...

When I go into "Network Update" or "Network Settings" in my PSP and try to create a new connection, I scan for connections and my wireless router at home is found, and signal strength is 100%.

However, in my PSP; under "Security," it says "Not Supported," and I can't click on the SSID access point named "belkin..." (my router)

Is it possible to connect my PSP to my wireless router at home? Are there any settings in my PSP I need to change, or input?

Or do I need to fix the security settings of my wireless router at home (which has a password)?

    Thanks...

I had a problem connecting my psp to my home network at first.
But all I had to do was enabel b and g because I was only accepting g.
And the psp apparently only operates on b mode.

    hope this helps

You'll also want to check the method of wireless encryption you have your router configured for. PSP is able to handle both WEP and WPA encryption types, as well as no encryption. Your router might be currently configured to something other than that.
