I´m considering buying either the sager np7370 or the np 8230, however I´m just curious as to the ability to connect to a monitor or television. Would I be connecting with an HDMI cable? Also, what would be the most comfortable maner to game on a monitor-television whilst my laptop is open (assuming I have to have the laptop open in order to use it, I could not simply use it as say a small case and use another keyboard and monitor, something like a desktop if you know what I mean, only with the laptop as the machine itself.

i use my laptop with a 32 inch 1080p TV via HDMI.

I use an extren razer keyboard and a logitech gaming mouse, a extern DAC and a USB HUB. So i just keep my laptop lid closed.

I use it just like a desktop, but i like the fact that i can just move it to the bed room when am feeling tired without to much of a hassle.

Msi gx640 and I game several hours a day. I just use a cooling pad for it with 2 fans. Never gets hot
