I bought a new Dell XPS 12 in the past month. Whenever I try to play League of Legends, I always get lag that lasts 3 seconds every minute or some other regular interval. I have tried uninstalling the wifi drivers that came with the system, disabling windows' firewall, trying different wifi networks, and nothing has solved the problem. I know that at least at home, it's not my internet's problem because on an older machine, I can play League perfectly with 0 lag on wifi. At this point, I'm not really sure what else I can do to try to get this fixed. I'm not even sure if this is a software or hardware issue. If you guys can point me in the right direction that would be fantastic.

Some more detail on my situation:
I only have the Windows firewall installed (windows 8)
I use Comcast Xfinity Internet, and the package I have is Blast (maybe Blast plus? it does come with cable)
While at home, my wireless connection in general disconnects a lot more on the new computer than on the old computer. Occasionally, my laptop would detect no networks at all, and I would have to restart my laptop.
I tried playing TF2 on the Dell XPS 12, and felt no noticeable lag.
My internet at home is pretty bad, but it's good enough to give me a stable connection on my old computer. Also, it can't be bad enough that I lag EVERY time I use the new laptop to play League right?
When I play League, my ping hovers around 100 normally. When I get the lag spike, the ping bar (those of you who play LoL will know what this is) fills up all the way, and the ping usually goes above 300. Then after 2-3 seconds everything is back to normal.

I have also uninstalled the Intel wireless/bluetooth drivers and the WiDi software/drivers

Have you checked for updated drivers? IIRC win 8 can have some Internet connection issues with certain cards and the connection.

I have updated my trackpad drivers, graphics drivers, and wifi drivers to the latest on Dell's website. As of right now, I have uninstalled the Intel PROSET wireless and bluetooth drivers. Still laggy
