    Controllers for gateway fx-p7805

    When i plug in my xbox 36 pc into my fxp7805 and try and use it with a game The game do's not recognize the controller or you have to map it out. Is there a fix for this or what do you do. Thank you for reading this

    It depends on if the game is compatible with a controller. Also download the Microsoft Xbox 360 PC drivers, from their website of course.

    do a windows update with your controller plugged in and it should find the driver for you. What games are you having problems with?

    Basically what they both said.

    It has to be a "Games for Windows Live" game, and it has to support the Xbox 360 controller.

    If I remember right, CoD WaW had the supported image on the back of the box, but it was never supported, and it was a miss-print.

    Games like:

    GTA IV
    Fallout 3
    Batman: Arkham Asylum
    Crysis
    Etc, etc

    All support the controller.

    What game are you using?

    Actually, I've tried Halo, Halo 2 and Crysis on the computer with the Xbox 360 USB controller and they all work. Also GRID and Need For Speed Shift.

    Might be a driver problem. When I plugged in my controller for the first time it installed the drivers ('Microsoft Xbox 360 Controller') instantly (Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit).
