ok if your laptop starts overheating or you want to run it cooler what are some effective cooling systems to buy??? like i know theres a thing where you can stick under your laptop and the air instead of flowing back up into the laptop it makes it flow through the sides...if anyone see's any links where you can buy something of that sort, or just a more effective system please post!!

Yeah, just google notebook coolers. I have the Pacific Breeze cooler myself, it's nice because it's really small, so it's portable yet still works well. Other than that, if you know what's overheating you can always apply AS5 to your GPU/CPU, but that would involve taking your laptop apart. It would bring you down a few degrees though

Any of the Vantec cooler pads work pretty well also. I use the Vantec2 on my old 15" Presario, and it really improves MB and HD temps even on the lowest speed setting. But it doesn't work well at all on my new Acer 5670, as the critical heat generation is spread out differently.
So think carefully about where your heat comes from, and check which product you want to try. But I certainly recommend a "branded" product like those mentioned, because nothing annoys more than noisy cheap fans! ;)

I'm using a Vantec LapCool2 myself and I got to say it's pretty good. It runs very quiet and one can really tell the difference in laptop's temperature. Few of my friends and I all tried it on a couple of notebooks over past 2 yrs and it worked great for all of us (HP, Acer, Asus) so I would definitely recommend it. Here's the short review of this cooler:

Unfortunately, I was unable to find any stores in Europe that had it when I was buying, so I had to order from US and it took about a month to get here :|.
