    Why do you want to conduct tests on such a slow HDD?

    The figures do look nice, but how much does it cost again?

    Great CPU, not enough graphics power. Check out the Far Cry results on max detail and at high-res. Practically no change.

    As for the hard drive, shouldn't it not matter? I mean, once the benchmarks are loaded and running, does hard drive performance really matter. I don't know. :confused:

    Seems like the average consumer would be better off sticking with a T7300 or T7500. Probably a whole lot cheaper. And if you're a gamer, why bother with such a wiz-bang CPU when you're still only using a mid-range graphics chip?

    Also, it looks like the thing just swills power.

    I'd love one of those along with an 8700m or an 8800m if possible. My processor is pretty outdated on my current system. I'd like to future proof my next one by getting a high-end CPU.

    I don't want starting up AIM to clog up my CPU ;)
