    Counter Strike 1.6 Macbook Lag Spikes A lot of them

    Hi
    I am running CS 1.6 on my new blackbook. For some reason I am getting really weird lag spikes on any servers that I am on. For example I would get 40 and start jumping up to 200. I do not believe this is because of my graphics card and I think my network connection is fine too, cause I downlaoded the CS files using steam without any problems and it was downloaded in less than 30 minutes at rate 200kb/s. And I get lag spikes no matter how I change the settings, it even get it in software mode. I don't believe my mb can't even handle software mode in CS =(. Does anyone have similar issues with CS 1.6? Help please

    this is really weird, when I try playing warcraft3 on OSX using the same network i get no lag at all. BTW I have tried using both the wireless card and the lan I still lag. Is there any chance of getting a screwed up airport extreme card and the ordinary lan card (whatever it is called =D)? I am going to try it on a different network tomorrow see how it is like. Maybe this is a Windows XP driver issue?
