After 10min (more or less) of playing CSGO I have to restart the computer because the game freezes and can't do anything.
When it happens, my memory is 40% (only running Steam...)

The problem only happens with CSGO.

Anyone here with the same problem?

Did you only recently have the issue with CS:GO or has it always been freezing? What are you system specs? Try right clicking on the game and go to properties, go to local files tab and verify integrity of game cache. If that doesn't fix it, proceed to reinstall CS:GO.

I had issues in the beginning with CS:GO and it ended up being that i was using the "generic" windows 7 audio drivers. It might be worth updating your drivers if verifying the game cache doesn't work

Just real quick, what GPU do you have?

CS:GO has some serious optimization problems.

I have reinstalled CSGO (I haven't played again) and now i'm verifying the cache but it stays 0%...

My GPU is NVIDIA 680m. I play Crysis 2, Witcher 2 or Hitman Absolution... would be a joke if can't handle CSGO!

Really? I played the beta version and it seemed to be incredibly optimized, IIRC it ran great on maxed settings at 1080p with my i7-820QM and weak 5830m graphics card.

I can play the game on ultra mode without lag.. but after playing some matchs the game freezes and can't do anything...

Reinstalled... verified cache.. and same thing again.

Let me put it this way.

The people on the official Steam forums are not happy, and now if you google CS:GO freeze, you'll encounter millions of people with the same problem.

Valve issued a very very weird patch not to long ago (a couple of month) and it broke the whole thing... I don't know if you've noticed several patches at 1 particular moment on your Steam library, CS:GO was just updating day by day. Still hasn't been fixed.

Check all the settings, turn off the vsink, it could be anything at this point. Mine crashed due to me having vsink on lol. Also try turning the music off might fix it too... :)

When I played it for a few hours like a month ago, there were no problems. I didn't play the game more, because as a huge Counter-Strike 1.6 fan, I can't adapt to it.

Re-install the video drivers as well. But it sounds like a development bug with the game - or possibly the Steam client.

I did a clean installation of Qualcomm Atheros Killer drivers and reinstalled the game again and played an hour without problems... hope doesn't happen again :D

Maybe it was a connection problem?

Oh I see, haven't had a chance to play the game again since launch date when my beta copy expired. :(
