It's free, but I think you need to make an account, and to do it you need a Korean social security number or something. I am not so sure, so don't quote me on that :p

I dunno, looks pretty good to me, if it's frree it's for sure worth to give it a try. I wouldn't waste another $10 for cs 1.6 or $20 for cs:s when there's never games out there for not much more. btw cs was the epic game for me that I played for years :)

All Steam has is source, so it would be like upgrading from current source to the latest Alien Swarm version of source.

CS:S just had a pretty major update a couple months ago. I don't think Valve is going to transition away from the Source engine any time soon.

Yea and also their engine can run on crap hardware while looking decent. Thers no need for them to change at this point in time.

I doubt valve is going make another cs game. Most likely, they be focusing on portal 2 and HL:ep3. Btw they have been using the source engine for quite a long time, time for a change yeah?

Source engine is such a cash-cow for them right now.

They do have deals for CS:S occasionally, but it's still priced at $20 a pop.

CS is the most epic online shooter ever. Started playing it over 10 years ago when it was just a mod for HL, back in beta v4 when the M4 had a scope, and the TMP was deadly accurate at long range...oh yes, and when the flying-through-the-air-while-zooming-in-with-awp-and-placing-a-perfect-headshot was impossible...yes, the glory days...

    Hostie-jumping? Yes, yes we did.
