Ok guys, i see alot of you are saying "oh 8400M GT is too weak and not good enough to run CSS on full high with x16AA and x16AF".

Well, here is proof that i can. The pic where my fps suddnely reachd 48 is because well, my fps fluctuates between 48~ 59. I have Vertical Sync on so my FPS cannot surpass 60fps.

And no this is not ME playing because if i start playing i can keep the window that says the graphics settings open. Anyway enjoy!

My gfx is an 8400M GT DDR3 256MB

I can see that happening with your 06 score. I had an NVS140M that scored around 1800 in 06 and I was able to play css at high settings max res with low/minimal aa and af. Given that you have a more powerful gpu and cpu, I agree

Yeah show us your video stress test.
That will show your average fps in the game.

I just did the stress today and I have a 8800gt. Average fps was 195.26 in cs:source.

The Screenshots don't show much. Both screenshots show one player and the surrounding objects are at a minimum, meaning the graphics card is not doing its thing.

For example, a screenshot with gunfire and many players on the screen will bring the frame rate down drastically, currently you are showing idle player frames. If you look at the floor you will probably get a skip of 60+ fps as the floor does not give the card much work to do.

thats not bad at all, close enough to 60 ,8x would probably give you over that

Thanks, there were some people with 8600M GT said they lagged at x16AA and AF...i dont know why my card is this good

I think the potential of the 8400M GT has been underestimated. Its not a bad card...im happy with it
