    I have a xps m1530 vista ultimate with plenty of resources

    it always freezes when i join a game.

    What type of internet connection are you using? Do you know what your ping is? Are you trying to download anything while joining a game?

    Check if you get an error outside the freezing screen.

    Sometimes it will freeze up an show an error but outside the game

    Using wifi internet, but i have pretty fast DL speeds... around 250kb/s. The error is not outside the screen, as it loads it just stops. and i cant right click or anything. Not downloading anything while on CS.

    Will get CoD when i have $$ hah.

    and i'll do the driver thing today.

    okay i got it to work. i DLed drivers, and then my date/time was messed up. now it works for now..

    EDIT: NEVERMIND!! i can load a game now, but once i spawn, it exits me from the server with errors like svc_bad and
    Host_Error: CL_Parse_Version: Server is protocol 150995968 instead of 4

    stuff... so ..help?
