I just bought a Sony VAIO S series.
Its using Intel P-M 750 (1.83ghz)
With Nvidia Go 6400 Turbo 128mb
Ram: DDR2 512mb + 256mb = 768mb total
I have tested it with 3Dmark01,03,05 ....
CS 1.6 , Need For Speed: MW ...etc...all passed
No problem at all.
But
Here comes the problem....on CS: source.
After loaded into CS:S interface. (Not in Game yet)
My system turns into Blue Screen of Death.
In that BlueScreen of Death ....
The last line is something like "nv4_disp error blah blah blah....
Just wondering, what is wrong with it ?
and
Does it happen to people who own a Lappy with Nvidia Go 6400 Turbo 128mb ?
Or its just me ? if so, May I ask for some help ?
Really Appreciate !! Thanks!!

Now, I have tried Half Life 2 ...
Same problem appeared...
I guess all the Source Engine games are having same problem.
so, HL2, CS:S, DOD:S .....same blue screen of death. -
Try newer driver. Maybe it helps. I have Ati x700 and for example Imperial Glory didn't want to run on old Ati driver.
Hope it helps.

yeah sounds like you need to get the latest driver

try the mobileforce drivers from tweaksrus.com. youll get a boost in performance over your stock drivers

Hi, I had the same exact problem. Blue screen of death and everything. The problem is 100% the driver. Go to the the Geforce site and look for one. I got one specifically that was supose to fix the problem, that a friend guided me to look at. The one that I downloaded had a whole list of games that it had fixed problems to, and on that list was yes... CSS. Perhaps google drivers for your GPU or go to the geforce site. I have the 6200, and the problem was happening on it. No more blue screen of death for me!

Not only that, but I've experienced many errors with the source engine, either pirated versions of it or purchased versions of it.
Very buggy, even with proper driver configuration and installation.
Try the driver installation again along with new drivers for your motherboard chipset.
Cheers,
Mike
