CSS is a game for n00bs.

its entire Gameplay, hitbox, movements etc are not competitive in nature.

CZ offers best of CS 1.6 and CSS ..i.e better Textures.

Hello guys, in this post i will be adding Registry comands that you should enter at each start of your game in your console.

    cl_smooth 0
    cl_interp 0
    cl_smoothtime 0
    rate 25000
    cl_cmdrate 101
    cl_updaterate 101

These will help you achieve maximal registry when playing on any server and will help place the hitboxes better on the person.

    @Noctornal,

Nobody plays CZ competitively, it is a simply lifeless game that most gamers avoid.

    Thank you.

oh? Well I have got a moan for CSS, the fact that there arent any consistency in thee settings. I was playing in an office server yesterday (not my usual one) and some guy can just place 3 shots in me in less than a fraction of a second, latence wise was normal, I wasnt playing any better or worst than usual, must be rates. I personally think valve should enforce rates consistency on the whole rather than just servers enforcing it.

But thanks for the stuff though micolobo... :p Knew a few of them, didn't know about smooth and smooth time.

Oh an if anyone is interested, the follow is the server I play in, its US based, but should be ok for UK players too. Its good fun nothing too serious office 24/7. :)

The problem with games like CS, or CS:S is that people seem to take the game so seriously that they'll insult other people and/or find every excuse possible for their lack of reflexes. Blaming it on the server tickrates, hitboxes and so on.

CS:S is definately not spray and pray, infact spraying your shots WILL cause you to lose every match if your up against someone even mildly decent. With any of the rifles, you also have to come to a complete stand still in order to get an accurate shot.

The graphical differences between the two are HUGE, there's no need to go further into that. Just look at cs_militia with all graphics settings turned on with some custom weapons.

I personally couldn't play 1.6, the game's animations are jittery, the game feels awkward, and looks terrible. But it's still fun to play on my Aspire one sometimes.
