    Yes you can, but you will have to wait for it to download the map before you can play it.

    Thats what I love about CSS, you can join servers running custom maps and it will just download the map, and wont say "you do not have this map".

    The download time will depend on how large the map is, small ones will be quick, larger ones may take minutes, but its all in game and very simple!

    you can get tons of css stuff over at fpsbanana.com. they have sprays, skins, maps, etc.

    if for some reason the downloads stops, it means that the server changed maps and you'll have to find another server running it and restart your download. also some versions of that map are probably modified, unless you're looking to play on a single server all the time you might have to download a few versions of it.

    even if you have the map, servers may have custom admin stuff, or artifacts that you have to download before you can play.

    Foosa is correct, anything you would ever need is on FPSbanana.com and there are tutorials there for problems people experience.
