1. Can windows XP games play on Vista?
2. Would there be a big difference in gamin from a 2 Ghz processor to a 2.2 GHz processor?
thanks
-
1. yes (for the most part if they are newer games)
2. not really. the processor is not usually the bottleneck.

And I was wondering if it could play games like BF 2142, because on system requierments it said it recommends 3 GHz
and would that computer be able to play games like Shadowrun? -
The Go7400 is a midrange GPU, and will struggle to play BF 2142 at medium or high settings. For such games, you are going to want a 8600M or better.
-
is that a new system?
If you are wanting to play those games, I would suggest a much more powerful system w/better processor and better gpu. You will be dissapointed otherwise. How much is the system you are wanting to build?
The 3ghz processor is for a single core pentium if I am not mistaken. All said though, I would imagine you could get a far better system for just a little more money -
i didnt expect it too play those games, but I dont care if theirs some lag and if its on low settings, I have a 360 this is just for the road....
How much more money? -
Compal IFL90 for around $1500. 8600M GT, T7300 2.0 GHz, 2 GB RAM, 160 GB HDD.
-
out of my price range.... what games could a dv6000t play?
-
As long as you understand that the 7400 is on the very low end of dedicated graphics, I would just let that ride...it will play games, but not with much flair, and not with any of the extra visuals
it will certainly not be anywhere near your 360's ability
