    Like the title says, my audio playback in BF2 makes a crackling sound. i've installed the latest sound drivers from MSI.

    anyone have the same problem?

    Well...did you check your sound settings in the control panel. You also might check volume control, if the bass is too high it will cause the speakers to crackle.

    wha?

    every other game, HL2, Morrowind, CSS, AOE3 plays fine.
    movies play fine, mp3s play fine.

    this is only in BF2.
