Who knows the game crossfire? By z8games? Here is the site, it also shows the requirements, http://crossfire.z8games.com/downloads.aspx this is the download site.
Well back to my story lolz, I gotta Compaq Presario C500 Intel Core Duo T2250 @ 1.73GHz, 1GB DDR2 RAM, 100GB(-.-)SATA HDD, Intel GMA 950 (tweaked and overclocked) 256MB-756MB Integrated Graphix and Windows 7 Ultimate OEM.
The game crossfire requires atleast a 64mb graphic card, and mine is 256. My ping(latency) is fine in the game but my fps(frames per second) keeps going up and down from 10-60fps. Its getting annoying now and i even have a laptop cooler to cool my lappy down =). But its just not working! When i downgraded to XP, i was pissed of my ping for some reason, it was from 10-3000+ PING!! THT was a big lagg, but my fps was from 30-60 but after a week, it went down from 30-10-60fps. SO i upgraded and did a clean install back to Windows 7 since Crossfire released a Windows 7 32 and 64-bit support and a new engine. I switched, it turns out my ping ok but my fps not ok! Any idea what should i do to fix my internet or WIRELESS internet connection? My desktop has a 64mb graphix, and it DOESNT Lagg!! I even connected a ethernet cable to my ethernet port in my laptop, the results were worst. SO my guess is tht my Wireless Internet Connection and Overall INTERNET Connections SUX!![]()
Can u guys give me some tips?![]()

Your GMA-950 is an integrated chip that has no memory of its own, it uses system ram. It would be safe to say your laptop cannot handle this game. Tweaking and overclocking it will not make up for the fact that it is possibly the biggest piece of crap for gaming, its meant just to run the display, nothing else.
Your desktop probably has a discrete graphics chip, which has its own memory, and is easily much more powerful than your laptops graphics. -
TRUST ME! I was actually playing this game called Crossfire for 2-3 weeks at 40+FPS but my wireless connection or somethin is causin it to go up and down.
My desktop is ALSO a Integrated Graphix card! Intel 82845G Graphic Card and built on a Intel i845g Motherboard. Also my laptop, lolz, as u said is meant to just run the display is kinda rong. TRUE, that integrated graphix arent made for gaming but i only play a game that is 64mb graphix needed!and even tho i have a integrated graphix, my graphic memory is 256mb which is 4X than the required graphix memory. -
No its not "256mb" its 0mb, it has no dedicated memory, it uses system ram as its memory, it can allocate up to 256mb or system ram to graphics operations, but it has no actual memory.
Your internet connection is also not causing your FPS to go down, thats a completely separate issue. It may appear choppy if your ping is very high, but the game is probably running just fine. Download FRAPS, google it, and run it during the game and tell us what the FPS is. -
Is it just me, or does this troll keep on getting banned, and then making new accounts?

CZX58, can u please this time give me a chance to finish my topic?
I am just asking is there any possible researches for this wireless fix?
I am NOT being a troll and I dont make accounts to be banned in fact this is the only website I found for reviews of laptops! -
Cross Fire System Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
OS: Windows XP / Vista
CPU: Pentium 4 1.5GHz
RAM: 512 MB
HDD: 1.2 GB
Graphics Card: GeForce 5600
DirectX: 9.0c
Recommended Specification:
OS: Windows XP / Vista
CPU: Pentium 4 2G.0GHz or better
RAM: 1 GB or more
HDD: 1.2 GB or more
Graphics Card: GeForce 6600 or better
DirectX: 9.0c or better
Since the Intel GMA 950 is underpowered when compared to Geforce FX 5600 or ATI 9600 no wonder you suffer from low fps.
A quick Wikipedia search told me that it lacks hardware geometry processing, basic hardware transform and lighting (DirectX 7) and advanced vertex shaders (DirectX 8 / 9).

Just check my screenshot, it tells me that my ATI gpu has 256mb dedicated video ram, and 1471mb shared video ram.
That was what narsnail meant by saying it has 0mb dedicated video ram. -
