    ^^^Hater alert!!!^^^

    Firstly,
8600MGT is not "considered pwnest card in the universe for lappies," please.

    Secondly,
Crysis bugs a lot with Dual ____ cards.

    Thirdly,
You are probably running the game at higher resolution. (I'm not running at 1024x768, I'm running at 1280x800)

    Fourth,
I don't have everything on very high. I have shadows on medium and shader on low.

    Fifthly,
I have the latest driver, maybe that'll help you if they still make new drivers for your card.

    Lastly,
I don't know about you, but I end all my computer tasks via task manager before I play any game. The only thing I leave open are the few core system files (which take roughly 25% of system memory)

Also, the 7950GTX my Pwn, but just like ever card out, don't expect it to run Crysis perfect. crysis can't run all very high well on the desktop 8800 GTX at a high resolution.

P.S. The 8800M GTX is the Pwnest card out there

Brainer, in other words, dmacfour is trying to say that unless you got an 8800MGTX, don't say things like

    Listen to yourself!

ya basically the best the 8800 GTX can handle with good performance(30+ FPS) is all high details at 1680x1050 (seen on a friends desktop). basically it's down from there for your card.

How is the performance on a 8800M GTX compared to 8800GTX? Do you know?

from what I here, the 8800m GTX is similar to the g80 8800 gts. I can't find any Crysis benches for the 8800 GTS but I assume that it scores about 10-15 FPS lower in crysis than the 8800 GTX. Thats about the difference in oblivion.
