    Crysis 1.1 patch is complete garbage!

    I dunno about other users, but this is the worst patch I have ever seen in my life, it has completely screwed up the game, and many times in hilarious fashion!

    Now that the patch has been installed, when I load a game, I cannot load another game without going to the main menu.

    When I encounter KPA soldiers, their weapons are at their feet and so they don't attack me, some only stand there watching me, some just spout their combat taunts.

    In the games, I'm "armless" in that I have no weapons, can't pick up weapons, can't punch, etc

    In the beginning of the "Recovery" level, I had two copies of Psycho, one of Prophet and another nano suit character with no face but only his eyeballs showing.

    In the "OnSlaught" level, almost all the tanks are empty, no combat, like the AI was disabled. My tank with the gunner on top just keeps spinning around wildly.

    Anyone else having these really strange problems? What kind of patch is this!?

    dunno what happened to your installation, but something seems to be seriously messed up.

    No problems here either. Patch works fine, but I have no pre-patch experience to compare it to -- I just installed Crysis this weekend and immediately patched before running it the first time. I did play past the Recovery level and saw no such issues. Methinks you have other problems than just the patch.

    I had to do a repair install of Crysis, disable my Daemon Tools, before I could even install the 1.1 patch.

    It ran fine after that for me.

    Your results seem to be the exception rather than the norm. I also had no problems running with it.

    Crysis will work with Daemon Tools? I have version 4 and after I mounded Crysis, it said I had to put the CD/DVD into the drive, after reading the iso for like 30 seconds. All options are on.

    Works just fine for me, try doing a reinstall. Also for people wanting to play without the cd in, heres what I used. http://www.spacetarget.com/games/pc_crysis.shtml#Crysis
    I used the one called Crysis v1.1 [MULTI5] Fixed EXE, works just fine for online play also :D nice not having the dvd player spinning up while gaming.

    I agree. The patch is crap. I had these dead characters standing up after I load games... never happened before the patch.

    I am not sure if it does or not.

    I meant that Crysis detects if you are using a Virtual Drive program, and does not allow you to patch it.

    I usually use No-DVD cracks for my games (from www.gamecopyworld.com), they work fine, no issues of single or multi-player.

    Just remember to backup the original EXE, for future updates and such.
