Crysis 2 DLC Mappack

4 all new maps. released 17th/18th may

i would of thought it might be better for them to sort all the login problems out first so thousands of more players can actually get in game before rubbing salt in their wounds and releasing a new map pack.

if your over the other side of the pond work it out roughly compared to cod dlc which was £9.99 here in the uk

 

I don't know about everybody else, but for me multiplayer shows only 3 servers and they're all empty. Either this is a bug or Crysis 2 Multiplayer is dead.

 

wow really... paying for maps... I thought cod was crazy for that but not ea.... looks like I am done with them for a LOOOOONG time... if they pull that crap with BF3 I will rage down to the nearest ea office and give them a piece of my mind

 

I share you thinking, texanman. As soon as I saw "Retaliation map pack" I was , then I was o.o "9.99$"... o.o

And then I thought = EA is becoming activision. I mean, Crysis 2 is dying, and they charge 10 bucks for only 4 maps, a price that almost costs us the BC2 : Vietnam expansion pack?!

I also think this is partly Crytek's fault.

 

I still cant play Crysis 2 Multi let alone a DLC

 

this is quite a strange one as on release day i had major problems with the likes of level saves and the upgraded pack not saving but once i got past level 6 everything has been fine since.never had a problem getting in game and only 1 lost connection.
here in the uk their are thousands of servers showing but only a hundred or so with players in.strangely enough most of the servers start with DE. so im not sure if these are hosted in denmark. only a few from uk and usa though.

have you got any filters ticked as this will lower the amount of servers showing.

like me i had a server for a month but because of all the problems i cancelled it and i rekon quite a lot of other clans did as well.my server by multiplayer kept crashing and kiking players all the time but i havnt seen a multiplayer server on the list for weeks. im wondering if a lot of the problem could be at the server hosts end and not ea crytek.

this is such a shame as there are hundreds and hundreds on the steam forum complaining of the same thing.
they keep promising more patches but its still not sorting the problem for players.
good luck as when you do finally get in it is quite an enjoyable game. much better than black ops and id never thought id say that about a cod game.

 

it came out 2 months ago... that's a really long time to not fix the game and a really short amount of time to release paid DLC.

way to go EActivision.

if this bothers you, buy more valve games. they are the last bastion of real hope for PC gamers.

 

Why would anyone want to play this mess when great games like Battlefield are available?

im only enjoying crashed pod which makes a change and still playing on a regular basis.

 

When I spoke to EA, they send they can send me a sealed copy if I send them my open one so I can sell it....Good advice EA.
