    Setting both the mouse acceleration and mouse smoothing tweaks to 0 did help a lot but there is still a bit of input lag and its REALLY annoying. Any other tweaks that may help?

    Also, how do we adjust the FOV? I heard you have to manually enter it into the console every time you start the game?

    Great guide, for some reason though, i'm using some tweaks, and they don't seem to be doing anything? i added a few to my system.cfg file, such as disabling motion blur, and anti-aliasing, shadows 1, but i'm still getting motion blur when i move left and right fast, and it looks aliased....

    My frame rate is always the same as before tweaks as well,, 30-40 fps.

    I also tried adding to target in the .exe as well, wierd?

    Heh, what you are seeing also frustrates me. It's called Temporal Anti-Aliasing.
    It aliases pixels, but leaves some ghosting behind. I'm still trying to find a way to disable it. I hate it too.

    e_shadows=0 believe me, it DOES take out shadows. Tried yesterday, worked 100%. though I wouldn't recommend, too unrealistic :)

    Guys for basic tweaking why not use Crysis 2 config tool? Its on 1.5 version and it helps quite alot without messing with cvars.

    Hey, I'm pretty clueless about all this stuff. If I start with extreme settings, what are the most important changes I can make to boost fps without sacrificing too much quality?

    Or if I start with very high, what are the best changes I can make to improve quality without losing too much fps?

    Advice appreciated!

    I would recommend having it on High, and then increase whatever eyecandy you want. SP only though, so if you want maxed settings, you will need to change through the menu, when playing SP.

    You can put windowed also through this cfg : r_fullscreen=0

    Patch 1.2 forces the game to read directly from the PAK files, this is to prevent cheaters having advantages like extended view distances etc. Command lines are also disabled.

    I believe that is MP only. I managed to change variables in SP such as sys_spec_objectdetail. Even in MP, it lets me to change sys_spec_texture, among others.

    Also, updating OP with a way to disable Temporal AA.

    So the game is already dieing. Tons of hackers and the gameplay is so MEH. I regret giving my money to Crytek which sold out to the console crowd and still somehow ended up making a crappy game even FOR the consoles! LMAO.

    I want to disable the blue flash that happens when I sprint or power jump. It is blinding and annoying, don't know why they added it to the game. Someone help.
