I don't visit GOG nearly as often as I should, but when I happened upon there today, I saw that the original Crysis and Crysis Warhead were available. DRM-free is certainly nice, but what makes these particular versions stand out even more from their Steam/Origin counterparts is the fact that they include 64-bit executable files that were previously only available on the boxed/DVD copies. In fact, less than a week ago, I happened to buy a boxed copy of Crysis from a local used bookstore.
The first game and Wars/Warhead are on a launch sale for $8 each.
I've uploaded a .rar file containing a couple scrips that will remove the intro videos from playing every time you launch the game. See the readme file inside the archive for details.
Also, NVIDIA cards have a problem running the game at 1080p and higher resolutions. For some reason they default to a 24 fps lock. To get around this, you need to create a custom resolution in the driver control panel. I've found 1916x1080 and variants with the same aspect ratio (3832x2160 for 4K) to be the most reliable. I'm not hopeful that GOG and/or EA/Crytek will be putting forth a permanent fix anytime soon, but this at least serves as a workaround.

This reminds me, I still need to play Crysis and Crysis Warhead... I had them in my Steam library for ages...

Back in the day when PC games actually pushed the boundaries of technology! Still looks fantastic TBH.

I really miss spending countless hours on the Multiplayer and the Mesa map. Great games and definitely worth the money.

I did play Crysis 2, but it was crap. But I do believe what other people say that C1/CWH are good games. -

The physics element in crysis 1/warhead is alot of fun to play with.
Quite fun to demolish houses, vehicules etc in different ways.
Enemy AI however really sucks badly. Especially in a game where you have a suit with special powers..
