    So I DL the crysis demo, got all excited.... and it's not working on my dell 1530 vista ultimate rig. No startup screen or error or nuthin... any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    What do you mean not working? what error?Cause your system can handle it at medium without any problem.

    Yeah...i have about the same spec as yours, and mine can play Crysis with most settings on high without breaking a sweat....don't know what happend to yours...

    Do u guys think Crysis will run on 8400M GS @ 1024 X 768??


    obviously on 8600m GT Crysis should easily run..

    If you search, theres an 8400M GS Review. It states that Crysis can barely play on a 64MB card, even on low settings (I assume you unlikely have a 64MB card though). I assume you'd mean a 128MB, which can run Crysis ok, but I doubt it'll really let you turn anything up...
    And as for 1024x768, I pretty sure that you can; lowering the resolution either way may not let you really turn anything up in the settings anyways...
