Nope, you can just register and download. I'm doing it at the moment. If you actually pay monthly or annually, you can download their "maximum speed" server and get is ASAP.

 

How many gigs is the Crysis BETA? I am debating whether I should uninstall Flight Sim X and free up 16gigs.

I do believe that the 16gigs is for the whole entire game(single and multi). I seriously doubt that a multiplayer game just for a beta would have 16 gigs...That's pretty big.

Maybe the beta will be 4-8 gigs perhaps.

Don't put any spaces. Ex: if your code is like 5 E 3 7 K

don't put it in as 5 E 3 7 K. It should be 5E37K.
that's if you had an invalid text.


Turn off some security features and then try it. If not, use internet explorer.

No, I get the HP, within a month, then in a year or less (when the 9 series comes out) i build a desktop

playing it on my future notebook.

Damn, I hate it when you lose the connection to the server and have to wait 45minutes before downloading again, luckily I'm using the fileplanet download manager so I do not have to start from the beginning. I was hoping to play a little tonight but now I am a bit unsure.

I already have the beta for the 360. Amazing game. They just upped the rank to 25 and they added new weapons. Of course, I can't experience a lot of this goodness because Halo 3 is too addicting.

I know my CPU and RAM are sufficient for the game, the only thing is my GPU.

I am going to consider running a maximum OC of 500/400 for Crysis.

 

Lol. I will be honest, I actually thought you said Call of Duty 4 for some reason because my first ever Beta was this COD 4 beta so now every time I see "Beta" I think it is COD 4.

It's not encouraged, and is considered bad forum etiquette. In some forums it will get you warned or banned, but in general the mods and admins are looser about that kind of thing here, as long as it's not intentional spam.

beta is when its still in development.

demo is to try just a finished part of it out to see if you like it

 

It's supposedly part of the NDA you "sign" when you download/install the beta. I haven't read it, so I don't know what the specific terms are.

 

This would be my second BETA, my first BETA was in 2004 when I BETA tested the Joint Operations: Escalation expansion pack for Joint Operations: Typhoon rising.

 

The beta is for testing purposes - the game is still incomplete and we're testing the multiplayer to find bugs and suggest changes to the gameplay.

The demo will be single-player, and is effectively an advertisement for the finished game: "Come try out Crysis, and then buy it afterwards!"

I got a key from one of the earlier batches. I'm really curious how it runs on all of y'all's lappies, 'cause it runs like **** on my Go 7950 GTX... (1280x800, all medium settings and getting around 30 FPS, give or take)
