I installed and ran Crysis for the first time last night and there is an issue with the control panel (options screen) that I can't seem to correct. The cursor seems to be offset.........I have to hold it low and to the right of whatever "button" I'm trying to press on the panel. This is keeping me from accessing the buttons on the right of the panel and causing me to be unable to make changes in some of the options settings. If I just allow the game to play with whatever the default options are set to, it runs good with no issues, but I want to try and tweak the graphics options and am unable to.
Anyone got a fix for this?

i had the same problem, move your mouse pointer around the area where you want to click and see if the cursor changes. usually the problem is due to resolution/wide screen changes
-
I did try that...........the cursor won't even move all of the way to the left side of the screen, I can't get to the buttons needed to make any resolution changes either. I've never seen anything like this before. The game itself plays fine, using the trackball to control movement and aiming in the game itself is fine.
I know it's weird, was hoping someone in here had seen it before and would have a fix. -
so all the buttons just disappeared?
-
i had this problem i fixed by sting it to window mode, oh and check for popups like from firewall and such.
-
No, the buttons are there, the cursor just won't activate them because I can't move it far enough over to highlight them. I can highlight the buttons on the left side of the screen and in the middle, but the buttons on the right side I can't get to because the cursor won't move far enough left.

In order to highlight and select the button I have to hold the cursor as shown above in relation to the button. -

he means that you can uncheck the "Full Screen" box to make the game run in window mode
-
Don't remember seeing that as an option on it but I'll check it out this evening when I get back to the living area.
Thanks guys -
Have the same problem when i run in DX10. Go to graphics options and check "run in windowed mode" and hit apply, then unchck it and hit apply again. Should solve the problem

That worked. All that trouble and to be honest I'm not much liking the game..........seems hard to believe that it would take almost a full magazine to kill one person. Think I'll stick with COD4. Anyone wanna buy Crysis dirt cheap? haha
