    what im wondering also is why it only works on certain levels?!

    Why not make a full game mod/config!?

    it was supposed to be coming out yesterday night. But i guess it should come out very soon. Just w8 for it...i Have learned to be patient...i am more excited for it than any one else.

    lvl 5 is good for 8800m gts...so thats is gonna be the settings you all should use.

    wow really? it is that optimized? so...if I am planning to get a GTX 280m or Mobility HD 4870 GDDR5...what the highest lvl I can go?

    The highest Lvl is 6, which is the game at ABSOLUTELY MAXED OUT SETTINGS POSSIBLE IN CryEngine 2. So technically CCC lvl5 is the highest (optimized config). CCC lvls 1-5 are optimized while 6 is more like the screenshot/wallpaper config.

    So CCClvl5 is the highest you should go. But who knows, CCC lvl6 might be a new optimized level in this new config.

    Though LVL 5 looks better than Very High or Enthusiast in Crysis and Crysis Warhead.

    So i would reccomend to stay at CCC lvl5 which is the reccomended for a 8800m GTS at 1440 900, i have a t9300 so that helped my computer a bit too.

    And yes CCC is that OPTIMIZED, it's great. Crysis loves good CPUs as well so considering the AI is all over the place in both games and it is very advanced.

    So all 8800m or 9800m users should use CCC lvl5. CANT WAIT!!!!!

    Hmm.. what kind of FPS can one expect from level 5 though? If it's running 35-40, I'd be willing to bump it up to 1680x1050... but if its around 20-25 I'd probably take it down to level 4 and use 1680x1050.

    Pretty much something to optimize settings in crysis. In the crysis install folders there are things called config files. What the CCC does is makes a custom config of these files making the game look as good as very high with out the original very high performance hit.

    If you would read the README or the comments on the download you'd know... :rolleyes:

    Program Files>EA Games>Crysis Warhead and just drop it right there, no further :)

    But I was not able to spot that big difference using my rig. The screenshots captured were awesome from CCC but that magic didnt worked on mine.
    BTW does this file also work for Crysis only?

    Nah.. i just had some trouble with our Program Installer and Config Switcher Coder... he was having no free time for about 5-6 weeks at a time (College exams).

    I'm impressed at you guys, i Google CCC v3.00 Warhead and the first few results take me here! :D

    Though i will say that we did kind of mean to make this a silent release... as were very tired of the same old same old modding of cvars for Crysis and now Warhead, we're basically retired until the next game comes out, now i can take a nap. zzz...
