Crysis Warhead/Crysis 1 Vs. Far Cry 2. Which is a better GAME

as the title says.

I want to know which you guys think is a better game.

Far Cry 2 or Crysis.

I have come to the conclusion that Crysis's Cry Engine 2 wins the graphic war by leaps and bounds.

But which is a better over all game.

Tell me why you picked the game and the pros and cons.

I have not played crysis. But I beat Far cry2. It doesn't really have a story and is a bit repetitve

 

im gonna go with Crysis only because the capabilities of your suit really make the game interesting.

 

cumbaya...i know you said the game is repetative, but does the game get more exciting towards the middle.

 

Crysis would definitely be the winner here, imo. Farcry 2 has a good open world appeal but i lost interest in the game within two hours of gameplay.

 

IMO Crysis hands down. Far Cry 2 was one of the biggest let downs ive seen in a PC game. Id gladly take the original car over far cry 2. I couldnt even finish it.

 

there is a very subtle jump. Its kind of like watching a movie 720p on a 12 inch screen and then switching to 1080p

 

Crysis was a resource hog but fun and sometimes hard, warhead much better but too easy. Farcry 2 very repetitive but very playable and looked good. Crysis wins! Hopefully third installment will be harder and longer

 

I really had a loooot of fun playing Crysis (just finished Warhead this afternoon ).
Much more than far cry, you get dragged into the story (especially in Warhead). You really want to kick those aliens of the planet!

As far as gameplay/fun goes, Crysis and Warhead complement each other.
In crysis, you'll be sneaking up on Korean patrols (and bases) for most of the time, which is great fun.
Crysis Warhead is more a "guns ablazing" rock'n-roll game. Even more enjoyable, imho.

And I don't know about you, but there is just NOTHING like taking down one of those huge exosuits with a Delta team

 

I haven't played FC2 yet, but Crysis and Warhead are really action packed. Especially Warhead, you spend most of the time killing your way through the game. And the story is fast-paced. and taking down the exosuit is fun when you have a team to do it with.

 

I loved both Crysises and FC2, but if I have to choose, Crysis + Warhead are probably the better game(s).

I found Crysis 1 to have great stealth and planning opportunities in the KPA missions. FC2 offers this too without doubt, but Crysis has the Nano suit which kind of kicks the gameplay up a notch.

FC2 is very open world vs Crysis which is a bit more linear, especially as you progress, and Warhead is very linear. So you get best of both worlds imo with Crysis & Warhead. Stealth action, open world and run-n-gun on rails.

FC2 is a bit repetitive and if you want to progress from one mission to the next, as opposed to getting sidetracked, taking your time and having lots of little skirmishes you will quickly grow tired of it.

Crysis has its flaws too but overall I think it has more "fun" factor for the average FPS lover than FC2.

 

I enjoyed Crysis much more because it was unique. Far Cry 2 just puts a slightly new spin on FPS games but it's still fun nonetheless.

I like both, but definately like the crysis series better.

Farcry was one of my favorite games, and Crysis felt like a more truer sequel to FarCry than FarCry2.

Aside from the fact that Crysis is just alot more fast paced, and looks amazing. The first FarCry game was set on an island, initially started off fighting people who built up bases on these islands who were also doing research on aliens, then the game merged into fighting both enemy types. Crysis was almost exactly the same except that you were in a nano suit. FarCry2 however has absolutely no resemblance to the first, and shouldn't be called a sequel.

Also, still, I love blowing stuff up in crysis, it's just so much fun to mess with the physics. And by far the best part is that the physics in Crysis aren't just eye candy, they're fully interactive, walk on them, stack em up, throw the pieces of a wall and kill someone etc. FarCry2 has almost no physics objects at all, and all of the gibs on things you CAN blow up, are just eyecandy and fade away into the wind.

Crysis: 10/10
Fallout 3 : 9/10

Gameplay:
Crysis: 7/10
Fallout 3: 7.5/10

Story:
Crysis: 8.5/10
Fallout 3: 8.5/10

Note that this is my personal scores that i think they should deserve not trying to flame at anything.

 

^^ LOL Wasn't OP asking about Far Cry 2, not Fallout 3? 0.o

 

Maybe he thinks that FC2 is so bad that it doesn' deserve to be discussed.

CrySis and Crysis Warhead For ever bro, I have tryed FarCry2 but it Fails

 

1. Crysis
2. Far Cry 2
3. Warhead

Warhead's cheap which make it a worthwhile purchase, otherwise it's only for people who felt too "free" in Crysis and wanted something a little(lot) more linear like COD4

 

I think once you have played crysis its natural to want to know how the story turns out. No question about buying the third installment for me
