    Using a Studio XPS 16:
    P8700 2.53Ghz
    HD4670 1GB

    Resolution at 1280x720
    Settings at High Performance

Yet the game is still choppy. According to notebook review, an HD4670 should be fluid at very low settings.

    Anyone know what's going on?

Your laptop is not powerful enough to run it greatly at high performance even at that resolution.
My M17 in my signature cant even run high performance well.
Crysis is a killer... try medium or low settings.

I believe High Performance IS low settings. (High Performance = Lower visual quality) Have you tried any other drivers?

I used both drivers from the Dell website and the latest ATI drivers from their website. I still experience the same problem. Could it be the CPU that is bottlenecking the system? I notice that my CPU is running at 99%-100% while playing Crysis Wars.

No, I could run it with a T5800. It's probably going to run 100% but I doubt the CPU you have is bottlenecking it. I've heard the the 4670 had problems with Crysis in general.

    Bad engine optimalization.

    That's what's going on.

It seems to be running the same FPS at 1920x1080 as it does 1280x720 at the same detail level (very low).
