OK, so after my effort to beat the whole game without using a single bullet (of course, other than the part where I HAVE to destroy the AAAs or choppers), I get to Paradise Lost where I have to kill off all the aliens to save Prophet.

I killed them, but sometimes (more often than not) they remain in the air when they are killed. At first I thought maybe I'm supposed to kill them with the gun Prophet gave me or something, but I tried that, they also remain in the air after being killed. The problem is that even if they are dead, they are considered alive as long as they remain in the air - which means the next chain of enemies will not be triggered, so there's no way for me to get pass that part.

Any ideas? Here's a screenshot... all enemies are dead, the one in the screenshot has smoke coming out of him, which is kinda hard to see, but all the enemies are gone from the mini map.

Maybe reloading the 1000th time was the magic number, but I deleted the custom configuration file, and the bug was gone... weird...

Just a sidenote, this CCC Crysis graphics tweak is HORRIBLE. I get a constant 15+ frames with everything on high and shadow/shader on medium without it, but I only get a ~5 frames with the tweak (3). And it seems that the tweek might have caused the bug too.

What kind of settings did this custom config file force? Are you talking about the System.cfg file?

Glad to hear you got it resolved though. :)

I'm not too sure about the specifics, but the custom config I'm using is #3 from here...

    http://www.incrysis.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=14544

I started using it right before the level Core, and didn't notice much difference, but after I started Paradise Lost, the frames were very very low (avg 5-8), and I thought maybe this level is just a little bit more demanding. And then I got to the bug part, tried it again and again, restarted the level again and again, and it didn't help, so I decided to just go online and play some multiplayer (for the first time, usually I beat the SP story first before going into multiplayer). Then the multiplayer frames were also very low, and the graphics were not as good as before. Then I deleted the custom config file, reset the settings to 1280x800 with everything on high except shadow/shader on medium, and frames went up by about 6 (in multi). Then tackled Paradise Lost (again) and frames went from 5-8 (with custom config) to about 15 (without custom config)... Then I tried multiplayer again, frames roughly doubled.

Learned my lesson, never going to us any custom configurations ever again unless it's a Total War game.
