    Crysis causing BSOD or crashing in Windows 7

    what could be the problem?....one time i remember i forgot to use elevated platform for cooling

    but these days..even with active cooler switched on....the game still crashes after sometime.

    should i try compatibility mode or is there some sort of patch ?..how to apply patches/updates (dont know what they are called)

    Underclock both memory and gpu clocks by 50 MHz, or play it in DX9

    What error specifically are you getting? Make sure to disable Automatic Restart after a crash so you can get a good look at it.
