Crysis ccc 3 mod verses Natural Mod? How much of a difference is there in performance? Do they both look better then High. I'm wanting to play Crysis with 25+ fps with the laptop below. Would one of these do this?
-
Mechrock, i used to play crysis on my 6860fx at 30FPS with this combination of things.
1. Install CCC lvl 3 : Add high textures and colorgrading to make it look like very high.
2. OC your graphic card to 625 925 1550.
Or if you want to play at 25fps then install CCC lv4 and it will look awesome and play very well. After that install motion blur to smoothen out the frames.
Edit: CCC Crysis mod is the best mod for the game.
Natural mod is very fake and shiny. -
Thanks for the replay. Is that 30 fps pretty constant through out the game? And what resolution was the game at?
-
it was at 1440 900.
-
What your fps through out the game? I had 20 to 35 at the beginning of the game then in the part of getting that lady at the school it between 10 and 25 and its really hard to play. When you say 30 do you mean all through out the game?
-
No game can keep a steady fps.
objects and physics will bring down fps no matter what.
the lowest i got using lvl3 was 23 fps.
Yes that part of the game is intense but using this mod will cure all of that. -
So does this ccc3 make all settings custom?
-
yes it does
-
Thanks for the help. I've been needing to try one of theses mods, but did not know what one.
O yeah Would you think ccc4 would be as smooth as ccc3 if the resolution was at 1280 by 800 or 1024 by 768?
And how much better does ccc4 look then ccc3? -
CCC lvl 4 and 3 are world apart.
LVL4 looks like very high
you should run it very smooth with my OC settings and at that 1280 800 -
I was also playing at 1280 by 800. Is there some reason for my low fps compared to yours?
