I am trying to play Crysis on my m9750 and I keep getting booted out to the desktop as soon as I hit the water and try to move. I'm playing on medium settings, 1024x768 and no AA. I am using Windows Vista Home Premium and DX10 came installed with the system. I also noticed the intro seemed to be choppy. I sure wasn't expecting this on this near 4000 dollar system I just bought. I hope to hear back from someone soon, Thanks!

I am using 7.15.0011.5663 driver that came with the system.

I recommend you install the latest DX from Microsoft's website: November 2007

Though, I'm pretty sure that the Crysis Demo has the run-times incorporated in the installer. But it can't hurt to check M$ site.

Also, what video card driver are you using?

Don't worry, Crysis does this to practically everyone.

Besides it's just a demo, wait until it's released, and even after, once they get some patches out that will hopefully get the game running a little smoother.

The 169.04 drivers seem to be the ForceWare ones off Nvidia's main site. I was reading some of your other postings Chaz and you mentioned to go with the laptopvideo2go ones. What driver do I get off the laptopvideo2go site? The newest driver I see there is 165.01 but it says 4-12??? I am confused as heck here now heh.

The 169.04 drivers are still crap for Crysis, I don't think drivers are going to help us play this game much better, but every other game I have plays much better with these drivers except GRAW 2 which is complete crap for some reason, it looks like crap and plays like crap (20fps).
