    What are you talking about?? The lead designers have said crysis will work on 3 year old systems. How would the 2nd most powerful laptop gpu from nvidia not play a game? You guys need to relax, thats how rumors turn into "I heard crysis won't run on a 8600m" which is pretty much what you said. Wait for the demo and why take the word of someone who just posted that one sentence without any reasoning.

    Of course it can. Remember a while back it was demo'ed on a Toshiba laptop with a 8700 GT and it ran great. So the 8600 GT should play it just fine (not at the highest settings of course).

    Demo will be here soon... and I just reserved the Orange Box on Steam, so at least I'll have the TF2 Beta starting Monday to tide me over. :D

    Well it will be able to play it... but judging by those screenshots it will look quite crappy. However I hope I am wrong, but I guess we will find out in 2 weeks.

    I heard the beta only ran in DX9, so that could explain the crappy screenshots.

    Also, screenshots never look as good as the real deal :D
