    I have Vista and DX9 card, Crysis on medium runs OK at 1024x600 but it seems that people with XP and DX10 cards can run Crysis in a Very High mode looking very DX10 with no big impact on FPS.

    You need to edit some files (or copy some files over some other files).

    Yep, its pretty cool, also you can mod it to allow only certain features, for example for me and Cinner we love the rays of light so we added that.

    Whats best if the fps hit is nothing like the hit in vista.

    Actually I have tried both and DX10 with shaders very high makes difference in graphics quality.
