So, I'm going to download the Crysis demo, and try to play it on the machine in my sig. Can any one tell me what I can expect if I put everything to the lowest and I mean lowest possibles setting with a resolution of like 320x240. LOL.

Good luck.
That's the only advice I can give at the top of my head. -

I'm getting worried my notebook will explode the second I try to run the game. Would the game even start up?
-
I suppose you could pull an average of 15-20 fps at absolute lowest settings.
More power to ya. Carry on. -
Maybe less than that. I would think around 15 FPS at lowest.

Nice, now I'm getting excited....only 14 more hours till the demo is done downloading.
-
I'd say you're looking at 10fps. I know I saw posts here of Crysis on Go7400 and the framerates were constantly sub 20 on lowest settings.
-
uh, that gpu is below min requirements
EDIT: OMG, i can't believe i popped my 1000 post cherry on this LOL -
If you looked at the system requirements for Crysis you would see that the game may not run at all.

The game is not going to be playable on your machine if it even runs . . . even 8400M-GS is too weak to play this game at acceptable framerates.

crysis isn't that fun
its also really ugly on low settings. uglier than other games with decent performance.
remember doom 3 and how, even if you played it on low settings and res, it still looked cool?
not so much... i consider crysis a tech demo at best. -

I had a great time with Doom 3 on its lowest settings on one of my older laptops, with a Mobility Radeon 9550 (downclocked 9600). Still looked pretty sweet.
Crysis, on the other hand, is just relentlessly punishing on hardware, even at its lowest settings, and honestly...isn't THAT great looking until you hit "High" or "Very High." Before that, you might as well just play Far Cry. It runs better. -
hey hey hey listen... I ve played Crysis on 7400, 7600, 7950, 8600.
But the Gameplay apparently is Boring...maybe as u reach further the game becomes better... but apart from looks the game isnt as engaging as COD4..
I'd suggest u try out COD4 on 7200...its really much better than Crysis and will run better at low settings...although dont expect too much out of 7200 anyway -
Go ahead!
That is, as long as playing in a 15fps environment is great for you... -
Well Crysis Slideshow is better than COD4 slideshow rite?
-
hell no COD4 slideshow is WAYYY better than Crysis Slideshow, everyone knows that COD4 is an example of excellent coding, most people have positive thoughts about the requirements and the graphics that the game has to offer, i played both, and in my opinion i've got more Eyecandy on it than Crysis even playing it on high. Crysis is the best looking game IF you play on very high, then you can get the game look like the mythic screenshots from Crytek

I second COD4 over Crysis.
Also, I ran Crysis on a desktop 6150 while i waited for my step, and it took 5 minutes to load to the beach and then another 10 to move a frame (800x600 all on lowest). If that isn't an example of poor scaling than I'm not sure what is.
Crysis on a 7200
