hard to say, besides the fact they are both shooters, they don't share much in common in terms of gameplay and stories.

I enjoy both very much, but if you have an 8800GT or better rig, go with Crysis. If not, get Bioshock.

I thought BioShock was kind of wierd myself, I didn't play the demo for more than half an hour (supposed to be a great game though).

They Crysis MultiPlayer Demo was awesome, if it were me I'd buy Crysis, hands down.

Definately Crysis. I played Bioshock but somehow I did not feel that much attracted to the game as I was with Crysis.

I truelly dont agree with the argument above that if you have a system with lower specs Bioshock is better. I played both games and Crysis on lowest settings looks better then Bioshock on lowest settings.

Still the choise is yours. Oh and Crysis has Multiplayer, if you like multiplayer games. :)

    CRYSIS MOST DEFINITALY!!!

    1- Awesome graphics and story

    2- Online multiplayer mode

3- SANDBOX2: Do what ever you want, no story line, just put random objects in the map, decide the roads, terrain, create your own map (easily), make thing blow up, spawn hundreds of things at once... its AWESOME

Two different categories of games: Crysis is a glorified FPS with lots of fancy eyecandy and a multiplayer option while Bioshock is a story-driven FPS with RPG elements. If you're the type of player who loves action and eyecandy without having to do too much thinking then Crysis is a better bet. Bioshock does have themes that let one enjoy the story and the surroundings more.

yes if u want more replayability go with crysis simply for the fact that it has a multiplayer mode.. but dont expect too much, multiplayer for crysis is lame ;\ GET COD4!!!

    This.

The RPG fanatic in me will tell you to get Bioshock, but the FPS fanatic says Crysis. Bioshock's story is deeper, but Crysis nails the "action movie" atmosphere with its cutscenes. It's a tossup, really.

It depends on your taste really. Personally, I would go with Crysis, but if you're into the plot and in depth games, go with BioShock. Has a terrific physics engine, original soundtrack, and many more.

Neither - get Kane & lynch: Dead Men.

With your choices I would get Bioshock. Crysis is more like a technology demo without any originality, but good nonetheless. Whereas I get completely immersed in Bioshock although it's more formulaic and not as innovative as the reviews suggest.

I'd get Crysis (or maybe Gears of War). Bioshock was overated IMHO, I didn't really enjoy the game that much. It was OK at best. I don't know why all reviews gave it such high scores. Just my two cents.

Well if your computer can handle it, then Crysis (or maybe Gears of War). I bought Bioshock, and I have to say, I didn't like it that much. Not just because it was weird.

Kane and Lynch has received fairly lousy reviews according to swedish game magazines. I'm sure it can't hold a candle to Bioshock or Crysis.

Bioshock is definetly a better choice if you like a tight, atmospheric, story-driven single player game. Crysis is only enjoyable on top of the line hardware which means only a fraction of the pc-gaming communty will be able to play the game properly. I just can't understand how Crysis will manage to sell well when you need a system from the future to play this game  !

    Bioshock Bioshock Bioshock.

Crysis is Far Cry with a coat of paint.

I got into Bioshock hardcore, and it gets really suspenseful just for the fact that half the time, it's next to impossible to actually clear an area of enemies. It's not so much that they "respawn" as that eventually, more of them wander in.

It's also much less taxing on hardware than Crysis is. Beautiful game, GREAT story and atmosphere. Really loved it, everything gelled very well in it.

Wouldn't recommend anyone bying Bioshock, not because it isn't a great game because it is. But there are so many people that can't get the game running no mather how much they tweak. I've spent hours just to get into the game menu and when i finally did it worked fine for about 30 minutes. Now the game just crashes at random places.

Go with Crysis and don't worry if you haven't got a high end system, the game looks great on medium too.

if your pc can handle it, then definetely get Crysis and don't believe those who say that it's nothing but far cry with better paint, crysis's so much better than far cry.

as for bioshock i didn't like it, maybe because it felt unfinished or maybe cause it didn't have much action and veriaty in it. and as lmark84l said, gears of war is a great game too, and the pc version is better than the 360 version too.

Go for Crysis. At least it offers multiplayer for more playability than Bioshock.

Get Crysis, it will have way more mods than you will see for bioshock. There is already a Mechwarrior conversion mod being made for Crysis = much more value. Just look at all the Oblivion Mods....they added so much more than the original game.
